So, I have this week off work. I have (some) money left, but can't spend it as my Birthday is on Wednesday so going out and buying any of the things I would like would be risky. Things like:
- Pride and Predjudice and Zombies by Jane Austen and Seth Graham-Smith
- The City and the City by China Mieville
- The Wire S4 or 5
- Southpark S3+
- Let The Right One In by John Ajvide Lindqvist
- Otto; or Up With Dead People
- Preacher (except Until The End Of The World)
- The New Annotated Dracula by Bram Stoker and Leslie S. Klinger
- A Lion Among Men by Gregory McGuire
- Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert Hienlein
- The State of the Art by Iain M. Banks
- The Red Riding Trilogy
- A Kilt
- Additional Costs Allowance
(If you're thinking this is a thinly veiled birthday wishlist, you're wrong, it's not veiled at all 8-) - at least two people have asked what I want and can't pull things off the top of my head. Also, if you're thinking of getting me a book, check my library.)
So, as I can't buy new stuff, I'll spend the week watching and reading existing stuff. I'll also be doing some more stuff on the Equality Bill (Helen Southworth will almost certainly be looking forward to another letter from me 8-). I may also try and re-design my site.
Most of my friends are out walking along Hadrian's Wall, but if anyone fancies doing owt this week, let me know.
Alex
